Authentic Budapest Apartment

The apartment was like stepping into a cozy retreat, with its retro Hajdu washing machine and quirky yet functional design. It made me feel like I was living in a piece of history. The fully equipped kitchen was a game-changer for someone like me who loves cooking. I could whip up delicious meals using the fridge and coffee machine, and embrace the local flavors. The flat-screen TV with cable channels was a great addition, especially for lazy evenings when I wanted to unwind with some movies or catch up on my favorite shows. The private entrance gave me a sense of security and privacy. It felt like my very own little hideaway in the heart of Budapest. The bedroom was incredibly comfortable, alloweing me to recharge after a day of exploration. Having air conditioning was a blessing on hot summer days, providing a cool oasis to escape the sweltering heat.

Personally, I found the stovetop a bit tricky to use. However, I understand that others may still enjoy the challenge and find it adds to the retro charm of the apartment.

We had a such great stay in Budapest really close to public transport, supermarkets as well as restaurants. Its location was comfy with access to Blaha Lujza ter. Everything was simply great.

We had a wonderful experience staying at Authentic in the center of the city. the host was incredibly thoughtful and provided all the essential items we needed for our stay, from coffee pods to shower gel. the apartment itself was homely and spacious, with a charming French character in the dilapidated courtyard. It may have been slightly dated, but it was definitely great value for money. We felt safe and enjoyed the quietness of the apartment, away from any traffic noise. We would definitely consider staying here again in the future.

My children wanted more kid-friendly amenities like a playground nearby.

The exterior of the apartment building looks a bit run-down, but this is in line with the general architecture of the city.
